The following are representative of questions that are asked during a case interview:

A private bank with a strong presence in India wants to begin a microfinance program. The bank does not have any previous experience in microfinance. How would you advise the manager of this new initiative?

A medium-sized investment fund is interested in making social investments in India. They have recently had some bad publicity and want to use social investing to soften their image. How would you advise the fund managers?

A technical service provider wants to partner with an MFI to develop a new product that facilitates loan transfers to villages. The MFI operates in areas that have varying infrastructure constraints. How would you suggest the service provider proceed?
